I had heard that this place was good but was still surprised at the variety of vegan pizzas. I’ve just spent a week in Italy and the pizzas I had there were no eat near as good as the mushroom View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pizza Me Brighton:
I think the contractor must withdraw the cook to the way and wise, as to talk to customers and employees. I have seen him screaming at the dame at the front counter while serving a customer. I complained in the past about missing items and tried to raise the problem of aggression from the cook, I was accused of lying and that all I am is "free eating" it shockingly bad for a business to treat people on this way and s... The chef is aggressive.. complained about wrong pizza and asked them to re deliver the correct one, they refused and I was shouted at and accused of being a liar
The customer service was outstanding, the pizza was incredibly delicious, and the delivery was quick. This is the best pizza I have ever tried in Brighton, and even in all of Great Britain.
I went to Pizza I personally asked a vegan pizza. The employee repeated my order back to me, they confirmed VEGAN Pizza. Then she cried it through the kitchen. I got my pizza a few minutes later, went home and thought it looked weird. I had vegan pizza from Pizza Me often before and her vegan cheese is very realistic. So I trusted it and ate a bite. Big mistake! I could say there was something wrong with the pizza. The texture of the cheese and the "strength" was down, as well as the color. I didn't cost milk cheese in a very long time, so it wasn't obvious to me in terms of smell or taste. I keep eating because I ordered from pizza Me often before and trusted them, but slowly I was convinced that it was not right. I asked my non vegan partner to try some, and they confirmed it was milk cheese. I'm lactose intolerant and vegan. Not only was this profoundly my personal beliefs and values, it also made me uncomfortable for several days. I have abdominal pain, cramps, diarrhea and nausea since I have eaten the pizza classic symptoms for me of lactose intolerance. Luckily, I have no heavy milk allergy, just an intolerance. But this has made me uncomfortable for days and I am vegan when eating dairy products after almost 3 years. Especially when I communicated so clearly with the staff that I wanted a vegan pizza. This is a great violation of trust and food safety and should simply not happen this day and age. I will not return to Pizza Me and encourage anyone with a milk allergy, intolerance and vegans to continue with caution!
Having another pizza delivery option in the city is nice, but I still prefer Pizza Face over Pizza Me. Although Pizza Me offers 18 large pizzas, ours arrived slightly cold because the boxes are too big for their insulated bags. It would be a good choice on a sunny day to pick up your pizza and enjoy it at their outdoor benches or at The Level park across the road.
