While many patrons rave about the delightful flavors and Neapolitan-style pizzas, some express concerns regarding service and staff knowledge, especially related to dietary intolerances. Inconsistencies with order accuracy and pizza presentation, including soggy bases and limited salad options, have also been noted. Nevertheless, the restaurant is commended for its attentive staff and vibrant atmosphere, making it a popular choice among locals and visitors alike. With some improvements, it has the potential to delight pizza lovers even further.
Excellent pizzas and calzone. service was very good and really enjoyed eating. would definitely recommend a visit and very reasonable price
Ordered a meal for two and it was so tasty. Very generous portions, travelled well ans lld tasted delicious.
I couldn't fault the quality of the ingredients, tasted great but the pizza was soggy. I want to be able to pick my pizza up to eat it. This was impossible and I ended up with this doughy soggy mess on my plate. Also salad...less than thrilling, rocket, rocket and more rocket. It would be nice to have more ingredients in the salad. Also why no oil or vinegar at the table? Don't like having to ask for either.
Today we dropped our daughter off at University and she insisted on going to a restaurant she had been talking about. She had mentioned how great the pizzas looked every time she passed by, so we decided to have lunch there before leaving her at her new dorm. Despite not being very hungry, I ordered a small salad and planned to take bites of my daughter and husband's pizzas. They both ordered the specials – one with mushroom and truffle oil, and the other with cheese and pancetta. When the pizzas arrived, my daughter was disappointed with hers because it had a tapenade base instead of tomato sauce. We realized our mistake of not reading the description properly and accepted it. I ended up swapping pizzas with my husband and my daughter had my salad. The manager/waitress kindly offered to bring a Margarita pizza for my daughter for free, which was a very thoughtful gesture. We had no complaints about the food and all the staff were friendly. Overall, we had a great experience and my picky daughter was happy. Thank you to all the staff, especially Martina. We will definitely be back.
Shame on you Fatto A Mano for your uneducated staff when it comes to intolerances. We ordered a takeaway, gluten free and normal. When I got home only one had GFD written on the box so I phoned to query it. The girls...response was; quote ‘I expect it will be fine’. It was not fine and was not a gluten free pizza. This was for my year old son, who is not celiac but has a high gluten intolerance. Mistakes happen, so I can accept his pizza was made incorrectly (whilst highly inconvenient) but for your staff to give out wrong information hi lights the lack of training given to them on the importance of this issue. Had my son of eaten this based on her advice he’d be in agony tonight. For the entire phone conversation, the manager was in the background telling her what to say. Not once did he come on the phone. As a business you need to pick this issue up and deal with it. Educate people working in restaurant settings on the importance of intolerances because it’s so important.
