Some patrons enjoyed the Sunday roast with delightful mussels and locally caught fish, while others were disappointed by poor food and inattentive service. The steak, sourced locally, was a highlight, served to perfection with delicious accompaniments. The restaurant's cozy setting and warm staff were praised, although the presence of barking dogs at the adjacent table proved an issue for some diners. Overall, Busby Wilds provides a diverse menu with great potential, making it a noteworthy dining option in Brighton.
Really super Sunday lunch in a perfect cosy setting Very friendly staff, cannot fault at all. I thought was also good value and I would definitely go again if in the area. Clearly popular, so must book as full all day, which is always a good sign. I was a table of four and we all had the Sunday roast , beef, pork or lamb in our case. All delicious
Excellent food, cozy environment and friendly staff. The perfect gastro pub. Highly recommend the burger, with a juicy pale ale. ;
Excellent Sunday early lunch pre game at the Amex- good service and not expensive with good choice of IPA beers etc Good vibe internally with small garden for drinks prior to food
I saw a note on Facebook to say mussels were now on the menu so my wife insisted we go straight away. Good decision because the mussels were just exceptionally good. I had the locally caught fish which was perfectly judged with a light crispy batter. Hard to beat!
The owner is a real gentleman and the vibe of the place absolutely wonderful. We didn’t eat here and just came for drinks, but the food looks and smells amazing! I definitely recommend just because it is so nice to see a place lovingly run and managed. We will be back!
