The Bengal Lounge - Bridgend

The food was fantastic and all the staff were very attentive. I will definitely be returning. We dined with the McMillan group from Porthcawl, including Gwyneth Poacher. There was a guest singer, John Rees, and the atmosphere was incredible, with some dancing as well.

I went to an event at this restaurant last night and the staff were excellent and attentive. We had a set three-course meal with a great variety of dishes. Our whole table agreed that the curries were amazing and worth returning for...my favorites were the lamb bhuna and aloo gobi. Shout out to the entertainers Ken and John, it was nice to hear Welsh voices. I recommend trying this place, they also offer takeout to nearby towns.

This restaurant, which closed in late 2018, has now reopened as Shaddesh Diner. The team and management are putting in a lot of effort, which is paying off. We have dined at Shaddesh a few times since their Christmas 2018 opening and have enjoyed our meals. Our most recent visit on the 24th was another enjoyable experience, and we plan to return more frequently as they become more established in Kenfig Hill.

Great quick takeaway. Very tasty with some free beers to top it off ! Would highly recommend!!!!!!

I opted for a delivery tonight to save getting kids ready etc. Food was 20 mins late and stone cold. Would not recommend this to anyone and will never even contemplate ordering here again. Omelet it is and perhaps I should have saved my cash and done that in the first place.
