Dirty hands moving my kids sandwiche... read more Note this is a private beach and they can and do refuse entry. Was not a fan of having my bags searched like they were TSA. Dirty hands moving my kids sandwiches around looking for bottles. No hard coolers allowed however once you are on the beach you will see plenty of large coolers as well as selective enforcement of beach tents. There are soo many rules to this expensive to enter and park at beach, that it's not worth the visit.

I received a $100 parking ticket for not properly positioning my car within the designated parking space. It seems that my right rear tire was slightly over the white line. There's an ordinance in Point Pleasant Beach that states vehicles must be parked within the designated lines (9-3A.2). Initially, I thought the ticket was issued because I hadn't placed my parking receipt on my dashboard. After paying over $3 for a one-hour parking spot, the kiosk failed to provide me with a receipt. So, how are they supposed to verify that I paid for my parking when their kiosks don’t print receipts? The lack of maintenance is unacceptable in my opinion. They should be penalized for that!
