We consistently order several of our favorite dishes and have always enjoyed them. I'm writing this review after nearly a year of dining on their food. If you love spicy dishes, I highly recommend trying the black pepper beef! View all feedback.
What Angelina Aguayo doesn't like about Dragon City:
- We received the wrong order for our food, and the staff had to take it back. In the kitchen, all we could hear was yelling. When we finally got our correct order, half of it was cold while the other half was hot.
- The diners next to us complained about their silverware being dirty with some slimy residue inside. They actually suggested that a health inspector should come in.
- We had to rush through our meal because there was constant arguing happening both in the front and back of the restaurant while we were eating.
- Throughout our visit, we didn't receive any refills on our drinks, nor did anyone check on us, likely due to the ongoing disputes among the staff.
This place used to be my favorite for years, but it’s just not the same anymore.
Did not enjoy. I felt like it was an extra Americanized version of American Chinese food. I'll cop to the fact that I like my American version of some dishes, but I don't want my orange chicken to taste like chicken nuggets. The staff was friendly which is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. We will not return.
Horrible food. Ordered walnut prawns, and it tastes like ammonia. And smells really bad. Wouldn?t recommend this place.
Take out was awesome Monday mid afternoon. The food was one of their combo meals had Kung Pow Chicken and Orange Chicken. Excellent. Est i have ever had in Brentwood.
My favorite place for a poke salad and lion king. Also go to for my kids for Asian food.
I've ordered food at Dragon City three times now, and it's been great every time. They serve both sushi and Chinese food, so it's good for groups--everyone can typically find something they like. The owners are kind and threw in a free soda and an order of egg rolls when I had to wait a bit.
