Best Indian that's right in Brentwood. Many Vegan options, everything vegetarian can be modified, and almost everything else can be made vegan/substituted as well. Staff can give recommendations. I personally love that you can control the heat level of everything. Everything is clearly marked so no surprises! Highly recommend View all feedback.
What Titus Ponrathnam doesn't like about Amaravati Indian Cuisine:
I have been consistently disappointed by Indian food in the US, as it is often dumbed down for the American palate. However, this restaurant impressed me with its authentic flavors. The pepper lamb reminded me of my time in Hyderabad, and the gongura mutton was nostalgic. Even at medium spice level, the dishes were flavorful and satisfying. The bread was soft, and the overall experience was excellent. I highly recomm... View all feedback.
Didn't know about this place til today. Staff was super helpful in making vegan dishes. They already have a Veg menu, so they had no issues accommodating. They made me a Cauliflower and potato curry! A nice lil gem in Maryland Farms.

The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the vegan options can be misleading. I ordered the veggie samosas, which were listed as vegan on the menu, but later found out that the green sauce that came with them contained yogurt. This was very disappointing, but the other vegan options that I tried were excellent.
My favorite dish by far is the Bagara Baingan, a curry made with small Indian eggplant. The flavors are incredibly rich and amazing. The other dish we tried, Aloo Gobi Masala, wasn't as good in my opinion. It had almost too much spice, so the cauliflower and potatoes couldn't really stand out. There are many other vegan options to try next time, but I will definitely be ordering the Bagara Baingan again.
This is our favorite Indian restaurant. Everything is clearly labeled, the staff is knowledgeable about the ingredients, and they are always helpful. The Indian food is fantastic!
