A wonderful little pub run by genuinely nice people. The Sunday roast is undoubtedly the best you'll find, and at just £7.95, it's a steal—I’ve paid double that elsewhere and they don’t even come close. Little pub with good selection of beers, IPAs and other drinks. Clean and well kept. I visited on Sat at 4pm and it was almost empty but still pleasant.
Great little pub. It's a little bit out of the way but popular with locals. Had a good well stocked bar and polite efficient staff. Nice little yard out the back too.
Good pub friendly staff good eating and good live music
Good choice of beers and regular live music of all sorts. Sadly all disrupted by the pandemic at the moment but I will be going back when normality returns.
Found this place while I was taking a walk about, I was staying at the local Hilton. Really nice place, your regular local pub, friendly barmaid, good atmosphere, better pint prices . Sing song going on when I popped in. Happy I did.
