So they basically do lunch for the dockworkers and. Lose when theh sell our. We went at bout 5 and all the ovens were off and food cold they served in the last two plates charged full price and didn't have a micro for the food. Prolly won't go back. They were nice though View all feedback.
I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The portions are generous, and one meal lasts me for two days. This has become my favorite place for lunch.
Exactly the kind of diner I was hoping to get. I took the ferry from Seattle just to have a decent working mans ' breakfast. Don 't let the hole in the wall decor make you pass it by. I 'd take this over a yuppie diner downtown anyday! I told the guy cooking, 'if you had tits I 'd marry you! '
This was my first visit to the Kama'aina Grill food truck at work, and it definitely won't be my last. Best huli-huli chicken I've had in ages and the musubi was delicious! Friendly and fast service rounded out the great experience. 100% <3
If you are lucky enough to have a Hawaiian Gran...I envy you. If you aren't that lucky, come here and eat...You'll finally know what it's like. Thank you CJ, for being my Gran stand-in. Food was off da hook!! Pork was tender and flavourful, Garlic Chicken was just a miracle in da mouth, and the mac salad....Admittedly, I'm not a big fan of it, but this stuff, I would eat willingly, no question! Get your Okole down there!
I just met the incredibly friendly owner of Kama'aina Grill outside his home. Having lived in Honolulu for 4 years, I am always thrilled to come across authentic Polynesian cuisine! I am looking forward to trying out their food.
