the first time here. there is a funny, attentive, attacking bartender. love that they have a few flipper machines and an outside area. the few masters we talked to were very nice and welcoming, although we were obviously out of town. also the deep-fried veggies were great and I heard they make a fantastic Fri-Steak dinner. we're back! What Jane Doe doesn't like about Blue Goose Tavern:
It 's a nice bar when I can get into it. They have a handicap spot, but refuse to stripe off the ramp. I can 't get into a place that allows vehicles to park in front of the ramp. When the attention was brought to the owner they said, he can call ahead and we 'll move the vehicles. That 's fine until I go to leave and another vehicle is parked there. I shouldn 't have to go through that to get into and out of a place... View all feedback.
Stiff drinks for not alot of money. My kinda place.
My usual spot. Be sure to tip Wilbur, he's a hard worker
Pool, outdoor area, food, delicious drinks, pin ball, karaoke. Friendly staff. What's not to love?
I was out and about yesterday in a party van with 10 friends and I asked about this place at a nearby bar and was told not to go there, there'd be drug activity, sketchy people, etc. One guy in our group said we needed to judge it for ourselves and we were glad we did. It was totally tame and seemed clean and well ran. We did have a token annoying drunk guy we couldn't shake, but we had that at other bars too. Great shuffle board tables. Our group didn't eat here, but we thought it was a great stop on the dive bar tour.

Until they fix that issue, I 'll take my business elsewhere.
