I ate at the Ubersee twice this week and they are currently doing mussel (miesmuscheln or something like that) specials. The mussels were the best I've had in a very long time. Served with crusty bread and with lots of juicy sauce, they were exceptional. To my British taste, the sauce is way too salty but the dish was delicious. Great value too. Cash only. What An Old Burian doesn't like about Restaurant Ubersee:
A nice looking building in a unwelcoming part of the city but slow poor service accompanied food that had little appeal. We ate there because it was the nearest restaurant to our hotel that did not offer evening meals, but this confirmed that we have no desire to ever return to Bremen city centre View all feedback.
I've been eating at the Ubersee restaurant for nine years and have never had a bad meal. I don't need to look at the menu any more as it never changes and I have a portfolio of 3 4 dishes from which I always choose. This week I took 5 colleagues and we ate outside. Personally I was sceptical about that as there are a lot of beggars and alcoholics in the square outside, but we had minimal trouble. The value is great, the beers are big and cold and the staff are great. Just be aware NO CREDIT CARDS are accepted.
The food is really extraordinary- light, healthy and very tasty. It deserves a Michelin star. Staff is very friendly. Nice ambience, very central, close to train station. Prices are moderate. You need to try the pizza! Lunch meals vduring the week and on Saturdays has special prices.
With a view to the main station the restaurant is very central. They offer lunch specials and the menu offers a good selection to keep everybody happy. I took a break while visiting the museum and really enjoyed a nice meal in relaxed atmosphere.
Die Frühstücks Auswahl ist ganz okay. Mittagstischangebot ist aber riesig. Nette und freundliche Bedienung.
Treiben am Hauptbahnhof. Es wurde von einer netten Bedienung ein Mittagstisch serviert. Inkl. Suppe und Hauptgang war es für den Preis eine gute Wahl zur Mittagszeit.Nur für die Toiletten braucht man seine Zeit sind irgendwo im Keller.
