Off the beaten track, small but very good menu, I had a toasty and it was excellent, also shared some sweet potato fries, some of the best I've had. It is attached to a conference centre, probably where most of their trade comes from, lovely surroundings excellent seating area outside overlooking fields, also quite with mo traffic noise. Definitely one to recommend View all feedback.

We have been loyal customers for many years, but today's experience was extremely disappointing. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks, and when they finally arrived, we were told that the server was new. While understanding, I politely reminded her about our order. The restaurant was well air conditioned on a very hot day with a nice, spacious atmosphere. The meal was really delicious, but it felt like there weren't enough staff to handle the workload. Although I wasn't in a rush, it was a bit frustrating that the staff avoided making eye contact when trying to get their attention. Overall, I would still give it four stars, but I may have been less generous if I had been on a tighter schedule.
Our cycling club stopped at the cafe for lunch today. Excellent food served promptly and some lovely friendly staff. Look forward to our next visit
