We visited twice while vacationing in BRECKENRIDGE. The service was great for our large group. There were 10 adults and 1 child. And they were able to provide a high chair for our 10 month old niece. I believe our waiters name was Jim. He was great! Food and drink menu had a good variety. We had the chicken fingers and they were great! We also had the chili tots and it was great as well. What KAT SLKJLK doesn't like about Motherloaded Tavern:
We were very hungry so one would think that the food would taste fantastic. The fried chicken was awful; bland dry. Same fried chicken in nearly every dish we ordered. (We ordered about $100 just in food. The only dish that didn't have chicken was the meatloaf and it had dry hard edges. The establishment needs an overhaul and a deep scrubbing. Our wait person was decent, kept forgetting things. We tipped well (20% bu... View all feedback.

The bartenders and staff are awesome, food is surprisingly good, some of the best cocktails in town
The bartender in the back room is corrupt and will gladly give away your paid for drinks to whomever pretends to be you. Such a blatant violation of ethics. Shameful.
As a southerner, it was nice to see some menu items that I had not seen other places. I started with the deep fried mac cheese, and I was in heaven. They served was Sriracha ranch but definitely could’ve used some more Sriracha. My husband got the ring of fire burger, which was just OK. It was overcooked and dry. I got the shredded bacon ranch salad and that was pretty good for what it was. It was served with slices of cucumber, but I think avocado would’ve been a better choice. Our server, Lucas, was very helpful and suggested I start with the donkey punch. It was a good suggestion, and I enjoyed it. I decided to go with a different choice for my second drink. I forget what it’s called, but it had habanero whiskey and honey in it. It was definitely a spicy drink! My husband got a Spicy ****** Mary That was pretty tasty. We sat on the patio with our pup. We just love how friendly Breckenridge is! They even brought our pup a water bowl. You could see a bit of the snow covered mountains from the patio, which was nice and you were right by the river so you could hear the water running. I ended up sitting out there for a couple of hours just enjoying the weather.
I’m sorry, but that was the worst spicy fried chicken sandwich ever. Our table ordered 3. They were all overcooked. The chicken was 1/2” or less thick. It appeared to be leftover from the prior day. So dry. Similar to jerky. Had to chew it a lot. We had a party of 20. Virtually no one else at the restaurant. Everyone else was disappointed in their meal. Service was great. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
