Maria's has undergone a change recently to have a small bar area, and a more restaurant like atmosphere. Fortunately, these changes have not impacted the quality of the food in any way. The pizzas are a generous size, all hand made and baked in traditional ovens, rather than the conveyor belt type. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Maria's Pizza:
They use canned mushrooms.....really?.....maybe marieas was good in the 69 when the were few choices when they were a big fish in a small pond Zsa Zsa's or Mothers is a much better choice View all feedback.

I live in Brantford and frequented the original downtown location frequently long ago, but have not recently due to proximity. I felt bad when it burned down so when I had the chance to order from the West location this weekend I did not hesitate.All comments about the high quality of the pizza are spot on and consistent with what I remember. But I want to talk about the staff and their high standard of customer service.First, we asked for one paper plate and some napkins as my son wanted a few pieces to take back to the ball park while I took the rest home. They gave him a small box instead.Second. I watched a lady order a beer. The server told her she overheard she was going to share it (looked like her mother was with her) so offered an empty second glass.Small gestures, but I wish more places would realize the impact they make and the loyalty they generate.

Great ambience with fresh basil wafting at your nostrils and tickles your pallet to try anything! We didn't have pizza but had the cannoli's! Amazing!
If you haven't had a Maria's Pizza while you are in Brantford, you are really missing out. Maria's is a Brantford tradition. Pizza made the way it was always intended with quality ingredients and made by people who want to put out a quality product. Marias never disappoints and is always an enjoyable treat, right down to the last bite.
