This is still my favorite spot for takeout. The crispy spring rolls, prawn toast, and mee goreng are the best. They only accept cash, but they should start taking cards. It's good that they're not on any delivery platforms, as I've noticed a drop in quality with other restaurants on those sites. View all feedback.
What Explorer484899 doesn't like about Taste Of China:
The customer service at this restaurant is terrible. They messed up my order twice in the past two weeks. The first time, I didn't complain, but the second time, items were missing and the meal was wrong. I specifically told the person on the phone to double check my order because it was incorrect the previous week. Very tasty sweet and sour chew and rice, but smoked crackers were a little soft and lacked cnirches:
Just had an amazing Chinese from here, first time trying, had house special fried rice, crispy beef in ok sauce and Wandering Dragon All meals were fab
Food is always really good, we drive from Birstall to collect our takeaway and we've never had a bad meal. Would highly recommend Taste of China
Absolutely superb food, would highly recommend to anybody….thank you
Always great. Been using these for well over a year and they have never let the quality slip. They were busy on New year's eve but, they are probably the best Chinese takeaway around and worth the wait so no issues there. Most of the time, you can get a delivery within 25min or go and collect in around 10min from the order. Quality and quantity is always good, if you like prawns and are not afraid of a touch of spice, try the salt and pepper king prawns, they are one of our new favourites. Not greasy and always good size.
