Grand Café De Douairière - Boxmeer

Double espresso was not double,no whip cream and spoons were dirty. Maybe because we are not Dutch but it doesn't matter. Highly not recommending! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Lekker gegeten, dames van de wijnproeverij was alleen erg luidruchtig.

For a first time visit Douariere certainly lived up to its expectations. Classy decor, warm and welcoming, hip ambiance. Various seating areas with room for groups. Very good food and excellent, helpful service. If I had to change anything I would stress that the beef is grass fed if it is (it seemed to be in terms of texture) and add a good chicken dish. Beverage selection is commendable and comprehensive focused on high quality beer and wine. Though the creme brulee with tonka beans as dessert was a bit too sweet to my taste it was otherwise superb and I would order it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.
