I have loved May Wah since my days as a student at CU Boulder. I am happy to see that they are still in business and have recently undergone a renovation. The service and food are still excellent as always! I ordered the Drunk Noodles and the flavor was fantastic, with generous portions. I also appreciate that the lunch specials come with soup and a spring roll. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about May Wah:
They had a propane tank sitting in the middle of the restaurant heating the place, which I’m pretty sure is a fire code violation. The food was decent, but the service wasn’t great. It was hard to get the waitress’s attention when there were only a couple other tables in the restaurant. And the food is WAY overpriced 80 for 4 people)! Skip this place and go to any one of the way better Asian places in Boulder! View all feedback.
MUST HAVE! I had the Mongolian beef….the food was incredibly fresh and teas the BEST egg drop soup I’ve ever had! The service was exceptional, the waiter was this little Chinese man and he was just the sweetest. The food wait time was fast, potions were perfect and the plating was beautiful.
My friends and I discovered this place last semester and we absolutely love it. I am always to get a table when I walk in an the host is super nice. Not to mention the food is absolutely delicious for a reasonable price. They have so many options and are willing to listen to how you want your food to be made. Coming from Houston I was disappointed by the Asian food in Boulder, but this is now my go to spot. Highly recommend the chicken skewers and wonton soup, perfect for a cold day.
I’ve been getting takeout from May Wah for several years and it never disappoints! I love their food especially the rice noodle bowls, sesame chicken, curries … you can’t go wrong. Delicious every time.
Very disappointing. Grumpy hostess, and the food was very mediocre. Won't waste money there again.
