Monicas is a typical small Italian restaurant in the North End of Boston. The pasta is fresh, cooked perfectly and wonderful! We had a brushetta al pecorino, amazing, bib lettuce with lemon dressing, cabonara and tajarin conpiselli e prosciutto, all fantastic! Can't wait to return! View all feedback.

We had a reservation at 5:30, but didn’t sit down until 6:45. It seems as though there was only one bartender in for the entire restaurant, so we waited a very long time to get drinks. It is consistently outstanding, with excellent food, delicious appetizer, it is fresh, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere, 
Always consistent food, fresh pasta and a fabulous location- this is our “go-to” place when we are in Boston

The Ragu was god, but the Carbanara was a gummy mess. Beautiful setting, rushed service.
All around a top restaurant, it delivers good food consistently and has surprises on the specials A Boston one of a kind
