Monicas is a typical small Italian restaurant in the North End of Boston. The pasta is fresh, cooked perfectly and wonderful! We had a brushetta al pecorino, amazing, bib lettuce with lemon dressing, cabonara and tajarin conpiselli e prosciutto, all fantastic! Can't wait to return! View all feedback.
What Kelsey LaRose dislikes about Monica's:
We had a reservation at 5:30, but didn’t sit down until 6:45. It seems as though there was only one bartender in for the entire restaurant, so we waited a very long time to get drinks. The food came out in a timely manner and was delicious. Disappointed in how long it took us to be seated, View all feedback.
It is consistently outstanding, with excellent food, delicious appetizer, it is fresh, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere,
Always consistent food, fresh pasta and a fabulous location- this is our “go-to” place when we are in Boston

The Ragu was god, but the Carbanara was a gummy mess. Beautiful setting, rushed service.
