The balance of... read more The staff could not have been any nicer. Started with the Grilled Caesar Salad. A simple dish, which this was, elevated to an outstanding salad. The balance of the anchovy pecorino and crispy shallots was sublime. Hudson Valley foie gras with the local pink muscat grape, cashew paste, and zucchini bread was another wonderful layer of flavors with everything perfectly cooked and elegantly presented. The steak tartare was perfectly prepared and not overly fussed with and the hen egg yolk, a delicious first for me! Do not miss the warm rolls and the wonderful butter presentation, so much fun! The veal sirloin was perfectly cooked and an explosion of layered flavors as was the duck breast with the combination of dark meat and wild ramps (now going out of season) was a delight to sample and left me wanting more. I look forward to returning to sample more of their fine offerings. I must also comment on the Barman, Nate. A mixologist of high quality and exceptional talent. Nate's kindness, patience, and professionalism was on high display as he sorted out the flavors and kinds of beverages we wanted but were unable to communicate. His talent enable us to imbibe with new and memorable beverages. I would return just to visit with Nate and sample his amazing creations. Offsuit was were we had after dinner drinks and dessert. Chocolate chip cookies with warm boozie milk OMG!! While the food is perfect, the entire staff was accommodating and so kind. A breath of fresh air and professionalism. I cannot say enough nice things about how wonderfully we were treated. I cannot remember the last time people were so kind and we were treated so wonderfully and valued
