The service was exceptional and the food was even better. The entire staff was welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate our needs with our 11-month-old baby. View all feedback.
What frequentdiner dislikes about Monica's Mercato Pizza:
We dined around 6:30. The menu was very paired down from our last visit and included a note about how the chef does not appreciate substitutions. The “Special” was already gone. It was hard to get a second glass of wine (which was not very good to begin with). We weren't offered another drink or anything else after dinner. The check just appeared. We absolutely adore Monica's restaurant. Whenever we visit the North end, it's our first choice, especially when we're with our children. The staff are always warm and welcoming to our whole family, and the meals are consistently fantastic!
Has a lovely time! Garlic bread special was very delicious. And we both liked our entrees

Yes, yes, and yes. Monica's had the absolute best sandwiches. They were huge, the bread was perfect, the meats were flavorful and tender. One of our favorite meals during our vacation here, and we had a looot of good food.
My husband loved the chicken parmesan sub he got. We waited in line for a while and then waited for the sub even longer- He said it was worth the wait. The staff were very busy and appeared efficient in fulfilling the many orders they filled while we werethere. Staff were nice. Great set up for ordering on one side and paying in the next room. Very limited spacing, really justroom to wait in line. There is no where to sit down while waiting or to sit to eat.
