During a layover in Boston, I visited a restaurant near the airport. I inquired about vegan options, but was informed they only offered vegetarian dishes. Despite finding reviews on Google Maps and Instagram stating they had vegan options, the staff seemed confused. We had a layover at Boston BOS, took a free airport shuttle to get to the Tawakal Cafe and had biryani, spaghetti and fries for to-go. While waiting we were served some free cookies and chai. Food are great, generous portion, fries are out of the world. Service was great. Will definitely come back as again insha Allah.Dietary restrictions: Full halal

Food was excellent with great portion sizes for the price.The place itself is pretty small with not much seating, which isn't great because the food is really best fresh rather than takeout, but that's the only negative I have to say.The sauce they have is also great with a kinda unique flavor.
Fantastic food. Everything is really delicious, clearly there is love in the food! I am normally not a fry person , but their fries are also to die for. Good vibes all around. Recommend taking the food to go and sitting on one of the nearby park benches and enjoying the east Boston views ?
Decided to stop by this place after reading amazing reviews and it did not disappoint. Everything was extremely tasty and the people were super nice. Definitely recommend!
