What Sincere Yemaya doesn't like about Pleasant Cafe:
I was extremely upset I got the fisher man plate I was told I would get extra fish n shrimps when my plate came out I had 3 small pieces of fish like 4 shrimps the plate was not worth 26.00 I ask to speak with the manger she comes to the table n said oh come on smh very unprofessional!!!! She saw they gave me the bottom of the fries which I had like ten on my place she said she would have them bring me extra n I'm go... View all feedback.
The decor and service at this restaurant were excellent! It exceeded my expectations!
The pizza is incredible. It takes awhile so we recommend ordering as soon as you sit down/get there.

Pleasant Cafe is an interesting experience with a great value. It's this perfectly preserved restaurant and bar straight out of the 70s, with a vast menu, unique specials, and a full bar. And it's very affordable! Don't go here with your nose up and quick to judge, it may look old but it has a really special atmosphere that many new hipster joints couldn't recreate if they tried. If you can appreciate it for what it is, you'll be a returning customer no doubt. Be patient with the service, sit back, and enjoy your cold $5 beer!
The upside is they dealt with a party of 18 with no reservation on a Sunday afternoon. Easy parking. The price is right. The pizza was good nor great.
