Everything about this place is fantastic. They have an excellent wine list, a creative menu, and the dishes are absolutely delicious. The service is wonderful as well. It's a small hidden gem in the northern area. In my opinion, the lobster roll here is even better than the one at Neptune. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about North Square Oyster:
We visited North Square Oyster, but they didn't have our reservation. The staff informed us that they don’t accept reservations, and they were puzzled that I had made one through the app. Unfortunately, we were unable to dine at North Square Oyster, and by that time, all other nearby restaurants were fully booked. To be entirely honest, I wanted to get into another seafood place in the area but there was an awfully long line. That's how I randomly found the North Square Oyster, and what a find! The place itself is lovely, very nicely decorated and friendly atmosphere and service. The food was amazing. I had a lobster roll which wasn't cheap, but totally lived up to the price. Customers seemed to be proportionally more locals than in the other places around the same area (north end felt very touristic), and I'd say that was also a welcome surprise. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Boston.
Service is good. Foods r fresh. But oysters are small. Lobster is excellent. Environment is nice.
Great restaurant, great food, superb quality, friendly staff, and everything is awesome except the price. It's quite high for the meal but overall worth it.
Off the beaten path (not crowded), great service. Wine and clam chowder are off the charts. Peter waited on me; added knowledge and a fun edge to my experience.
The service was quirky. Table was very small but the food delivery was all at once. We ended up with dishes on the window sill. Either change the tables or improve kitchen performance. The waiter who took the order could not control it's delivery (or so she said).
