Excellent eating. excellent service. this is our favorite restaurant in boston. highly recommended.

We were in Boston on vacation for a couple days and wanted to each somewhere in the North End. We found this place on OpenTable and the reviews seemed good. The location is basically at the entrance of the North End down the street from TD Garden. We ate at 6:30pm on a Tuesday night and there were a few tables already filled. Our waiter sorry forgot his name was very nice and welcoming. Since Covid I find restaurant service to be very poor generally but you could tell our waiter took a lot of pride in the restaurant. He is probably the owner or manager. Anyway, we really appreciated his attentive service he was regularly checking in to see if we needed anything. The food was very good Italian food. Chicken Piccata was delicious and a very large portion. The gnocchi was a normal portion and also delicious. Spaghetti and meatballs that my son ate was good too. It’s not the fanciest place but if you’re looking for a good meal at a fair price with great service, look no further.

The waitress wasn’t the best. I ordered veal, my girlfriend chicken. Instead of making sure which plate was which, she just threw them down and went off. My girlfriend doesn’t enjoy veal or any beef products and was disgusted after taking a bite of the wrong meal. Aside from this blunder and woman, we enjoyed the ambiance.
