Assaggio - Boston

We came after dinner at the North End to try their espresso Martini as we heard that they had some of the best in Boston and we were not disappointed! The chocolate powder around the interior of the rim was unique, but so delicious and the Martini itself was very smooth and rich. The bar upstairs was very elegant and intimate and had a fantastic mood would definitely come back!

My wife and I attended a birthday party on the second floor. Service was pleasant, but seemed somewhat overwhelmed by the party of 20. I ordered Gnocchi and my wife ordered the Auberginenparmigiana. Both dishes were well executed. It was loud in the dining area conversation sometimes difficult when with background music and a Bruins game on the TV.

We had to find a restaurant in the north and came over this jewel after all the others were booked. The lasagna was soft and delicate, the Carbonara was tender and tasty made with her house pasta. We were thrilled to have a great dinner. Just comment the business is making the couches in the dining room for a strange experience.

First visit for a rather large group celebrating birthdays. Service was excellent, appetizers, meals and desserts were amazing. In any case, I would like to visit a return.

The steak is very tender and delicious cooked just as I asked. Price is a bit much but the quality is good. The octopus is good the drinks are a bit on the week side. Overall good quality and value
