U Fragnu - Bonifacio

Handy large restaurant in centre of old town of Bonifacio. We wanted mussels and they were fine, though chips soggy. Desserts basic but okay. Service amateur but friendly. Seats outside and inside so useful in all weathers. And they have a view.

We stopped here out of heat exhaustion during the day for a drink, but so wanted to come back for dinner because of the view (from the citadel down to the harbor). We were not disappointed. The service was excellent and friendly. Our waiter's English was very good, so it made for a relaxed evening. He was also very chatty and didn't make us feel as if we were imposing. I had a lasagne and it was one of the best I've ever had. The others who had fish were also very satisfied. The drinks were good, too. We especially liked the spray olive oil for the warm rolls. The front of this restaurant is on a busy tourist street, one on the tourist train route, but don't be put off. The dining room is down a level and if you get a table by the window, you won't want to leave. I give it a big thumbs up.

Soirée en famille sur Bonifacio. apres avoir cherché un certains temps pour un restau, nous avons mangé dans ce restaurants de superbes grillades. Parfaitement cuites sous nos yeux par le chef grill. Bons produits, personnel tres sympas. Nous avons passé une superbe soirée.Nous reviendrons!

Serveur très sympathique, une carte bien fournie dans des prix plus que raisonnable mais surtout essayer la cuisson au feu de bois , un regal , merci pour l'accueil

Le prix d'appel intéressant pour le plat du jour, mais une déception en ce qui concerne le contenu, quelques frites et une minuscule brochette de veau (à confirmer), panacotta écœurant avec jus de fruits rouge.Le gout convenable, un peu plus de frites pour des randonneurs serait appréciables.Les pâtes à la seiche!! je cherche encore la seiche!!!En bref un attrape touriste!!!
