We found this place in the old town of Benefacio and stopped for a drink and bite to eat. I tried to order a bruschetta but was told initially that the Terrance was for drinks only the waiter then returned with our drinks and had managed to get me the food I wanted which was a nice touch. We found the Bruschetta Corsica delicious and the service very good recommended. View all feedback.
What A N doesn't like about Le Gui Vin's:
As the spot is very nice, we went there for breakfast.. i am French, breakfast is sacred.... Very very disappointing... we took the formula breakfast and despite asking prior ordering, the orange juice was not freshly squeezed but an horrible juice from a box. The bread was not great at all and the worst were the small individual plastic containers of jams and butter that arrived in the bread basket like in a cheap h... View all feedback.
Sitting by the flowers in the sunny square. What could be nicer? We had a good meal. Not the absolute best but very far from the worst. The owner/manager is a real character. I am surprised at some of the very negative reviews. I do think though that perhaps an extra waiter would improve the speed of service. The kitchen is fairly small and only one chef. We enjoyed our lunch and would return.
Food was disgusting. The only good thing here is the localisation. This is sad as this place deserve a better restaurant...
For a breakfast. Welcome to the owner. Classic but good breakfast (croquery, bread with butter and jam, hot drink and orange juice) for 6€50. Positive: the setting with a beautiful terrace in the old town... lots of charm. We did not test the rest of the card, but everything seems in simplicity, as at home.
Good service, very good dish. special note at spag in palourdes
You have it for your money with in addition the good mood of the boss!
