Danny's Pizza And Burger - Bolingbrook

Great place as a sports bar. Food is very good with a nice seasonal rotation.

Growing up on the southwest side of Chicago, we would always go to Danny’s pizza on archer Ave…it was one of the best. Today, we stopped in at their location in Bolingbrook at the Promenade, which we’ve been to before. Not sure what is going on there but the pizza was TERRIBLE! It’s been a couple of years since we we there last and it was great back then. The pizza tasted like a frozen pizza and came out in 15 minutes. Thera no way a good, fresh pizza can be made that fast. The crust was bad and the cheese tasted funny. We only ate a few pieces because we were hungry after a day of shopping. I’m done with Danny’s!

The pizza is amazing !! The food overall is great and the service is always phenomenal! Only reason I rate a 4 is because of my last visit, I noticed upon paying my bill, that they throw a charge on there to pay with a card. It was about a $4 charge, which is insane. Why do I have to pay you … to pay you ??? We planned to use cash either way , but the charge was added to the bill before anyone asked us how we would be paying. Our server did remove the charge since we paid cash but the extra charges restaurants try to sneak on bills these days are insane.

Danny's reminds me of the pizza I grew up with as a kid. To be honest, everything they offer is so good. Now putting the food aside, the service is all you'd want it to be and more. Christian is our favorite server (I ALWAYS ask for him). He is super attentive, always gets our orders right and is so personable. His additude and customer service exceeds our expectations every single time! Danny's atmosphere is cool and casual and the service we get makes us want to go back again and again.

Food: we loved! Drinks: We loved! The frozen Sangria was yum! The music: fun! The server: nice as can be! The only downside was it was loud like a cafeteria inside. (And that was when it was late afternoon empty.)I had the Fig and goat cheese bacon burger. AMAZING! Most exciting burger I’ve had in years. Hubby had the fish chips and they didn’t bring any tartar sauce, so he was a little disappointed. The tater tots were so crisp and perfectly crunchy on the outside.we’ll be back, and maybe to try out their nice outdoor patio.
