Olive Garden - Boise

I went here for my birthday and one of the waiters didn't allow me and my friend to have a great experience. He barely came back to check in on us and he told us his pay and explained to us that tipping is very much appreciated. Usually the waiters/waitresses are nice and check in frequently. As my mom says if you don't like where you are working you aren't a tree; and you are able to to use your legs to apply somewhere else if you aren't happy. Again great place but service that time was not it.

We found ourselves there for a busy time for our jubilee, but our server heidi has made a wonderful job that balances all their responsibility. eating was well seasoned as they would expect from other olive garden sites. the only criticism I have is the middle turnout I ordered was rather a medium good.

Yesterday is a little strange experience. the personal came close to our table together and had a 10 min talk about their layers, annoying staff, etc. It was a conversation that I think should not really happen loud while the customers try to eat. it was as if they were sitting in a bar or a living room and talking casually about it. Maybe it's a good thing that the staff is so comfortable at work, so maybe I'm wrong to read this and it's actually a more positive one? or so, it was personally disturbing for me. that means our waitress was just beautiful and that was eating well, otherwise I would give a star.

Olive Garden is a good place to get pasta salad and BREAD STICKS!!! Today's experience was great. Our server (Mike) was excellent. Kept my drink full. Checked on us regularly and was very kind. The food was top notch. I snuck a taste of my wife's dish while she had our daughter in the bathroom. I also tasted my daughters Mac n cheese and my other daughters pizza. We also had the strawberry cream cake. The cake itself wasn't the best but the cream frosting and the strawberry syrup made it taste great. I usually get the cheese ravioli with Alfredo sauce and add chicken. But today (and some other times) I got the giant stuffed shells with chicken so same same but different. And to top it all off. The best part about Olive Garden. The after dinner mints!

Service can vary but the food is always great. Shrimp Alfredo is the best around with lots of shrimp. Minestrone soup very salty, salad salty but tasty. The bread sticks are always hot and delicious. Not heart healthy meals but very good and consistent quality.
