friendly staff, good location and vibes, yummy food, cute little store. we had the veggreburger, hippie bowl, tacos and vegan chocolate zuchini cake. at first we were afraid we ordered too much but the tacos and the bowl are quite small. everything was delicious! i especially liked the burger and the salad sauces. would definitely come again! To have this place in such a remote spot is a vegetarian dream. Get the tacos, the “burger”, and don’t miss out on the smoothies!
Multiple vegan options, absolutely delicious. Beautiful view. Relaxed and friendly vibe! This place is a must try!!
We strongly recommend this restaurant. Good vibe, great view and terrific food, also fishdishes. Portions are good and dishes magnificent. Best food on the island. Therefore we went twice. Smoothies also strongly recommended, really liked the Sunny Days and Green Mojo. Although the Spiced Monkey...is the favourite.
Great for mini-escape from the main island. a 1usd water taxi away from town brings you in a totally different setting. Incredible fish taco's have been added to the menu, so this is not only your vegan option anymore! A very replenishing experience!
Wow! Not being familiar with the area of Bocas del Toro I was hesitant to take a boat ride to find a vegetarian restaurant for my girlfriend, but I am certainly glad that we took the $1/pp boat ride 3 minutes from the main island...of Colon to this leafy sanctuary. Leaf Eaters opens at noon but we came here twice and stayed for more than 6 hours each time. Excellent food and delicious beverages. I recommend the green tea kambucha, Italian vegetable soup, and the Cobia Caesar salad. The prices are fair for the area but it 's not inexpensive. We really enjoyed the atmosphere as there is a gentle breeze and we were quite comfortable to work from our laptops on the spacious dock . If you ever feel too hot simply just in the water for a quick cool down and return for a chilled local craft beer to finish the job. The staff was very friendly but not intrusive as we spent the afternoons leisurely working, eating, and drinking. There is also a small shop with locally made items such as organic insect spray (you 'll need it), incense, soaps, and the like. I highly recommend visiting on your next trip, especially if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets and if you are looking for fantastic vegan and vegetarian options, Enjoy!
