My favorite public beach near Santo Domingo. Not very deep for real swimming, but beautiful. I usually go to Il Mare Restaurant, in the small Hotel Esmeralda (closed for overnight stays) View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Playa Guayacanes:
Beautiful setting right on the beach. Place can use a little more work. Prices are fair however if you want fish they might say that all they have available is a humongous creature. That means that the price you see on the menu might quadruple. Food is excellent and very quiet! View all feedback.
Great place to visit, you need to be observing and careful when you are from the hood you have no problem treating only people with respect. I'll be back soon.

This small stretch of beach was perfect for me and my friends who don't particularly care for the mainstream hustle of the other beaches. The service we received from parking, getting to and from the SUV and in between was amazing. Someone was there at your fingertips to assist with food to pouring up drinks.
