The food was delicious and served in generous portions. I requested a less spicy fried rice for my children and the staff happily accommodated my request. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was beautiful and clean. The portions were large and satisfying. I only wish they offered a lunch buffet. Overall, a very good dining experience. I will definitely be returning. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Hyderabad Indian Grill:
We used to really like this place but unfortunately our meal yesterday was really below average food. Almost everything tasted like it was warmed leftovers from a buffet watered down, limited spice for the medium spice level requested, old tasting meat. The rice containers were 2/3 full and was most definitely not fresh rice. Really disappointed to have spent so much on a meal that just left us grumpy and unsatisfied... View all feedback.
Food is good but 95% of the time, the service is slow and disorganized. We go here specifically for a couple of dishes esp. Dosa which are generally very good. Their chai is also very good. They could use some training in serving and timing though so that all food comes out in a relatively close manner for the entire table. As others have noted, it seems like the same person usually waits on tables, cashiers, manages delivery orders and who knows what else; all at a detriment to the dine-in guests.Additionally, the bathrooms are generally pretty dirty and messy and often without toilet paper. Not a problem for a majority of their clientele, as they provide a pitcher to “wash” with, but not an option for this western-girl. We’ll return but only when we have a lot of time. tissues in my purse.
Biriyani was good. Make sure u are telling your spicy level while ordering. On weekends it is crowded and waiting time is close to 30 minutes
I tried the Chili Gobi, requested spicy. It was not crispy, like at all. Nor was it spicy. Bummer on both accounts. It was fine, but I wouldn 't order it again. I wouldn 't be opposed to trying the Gobi Manchurian just to see if it 's any better. Palak Aloo Aloo Saag is one of my favorite dishes, so I was happy to see that they offer a vegan version. I requested it spicy. It was ok. I 've had worse; I 've had much better. It 's missing something... I wouldn 't order it again. Poori was different but ok. Vegetable samosas were delicious. Excellent crispy, flaky samosa and perfectly spiced fillings. The menu is clearly marked with V for all vegan items, and there 's lots from which to choose. They also label for GF, NF, and DF (gluten free, nut free, and dairy free, respectively). I would like to try more vegan items, like the Bhindi Masala and the dosas. So although I would return, based on my experience, I wouldn 't go out of my way to do so.
Head over to HYDERABAD INDIAN GRILL for flavorful, preservative-free, authentic Indian food. Their DAL SOUP is so delicious I ordered it twice in one week. I told waitress Vicki their dal soup was “comfort food” to me and I’d like to make it at home. She graciously wrote down the key ingredients and showed me how to search You Tube for a dal soup demonstration. Both Vicki and Vamshi are hardworking, kind, and good listeners. I described my dietary restrictions so the soup was cooked to order! Their mango lassi was also good.

We picked up the meal just as they were finishing bagging it and ate it less than ten minutes away so takeout transport was not a factor.
