Bring some quarters for parallel parking in front of the restaurant. There are some really nice outdoor seating on the back of the restaurant. The streets of Mais, Quesadillas and Tacos were really good! View all feedback.
What Nav doesn't like about El Matador Mexican:
This place was absolutely beautiful if you're looking for a scenic restaurant. The food was cooked thoroughly, well seasoned, and lacking nothing. I tried a tamale for the first time, and I liked it. It's a great place to go with a group because they willingly split your bill by person, so there's no hackle at the end of dinner. They are worth 5 stars. View all feedback.
I came here with no idea before, I was just working the area, and man! You should try to eat something here! The guy is very friendly and the Carne Asada was really good.
El Matador really went to the plate with her outdoor food since COVID started. From the front it can look like they are closed, but they have a fantastic outdoor seat under a large illuminated tent on a terrace in the back of the restaurant. The entrance to this terrace is at the side of the building, but has a great sign to let you know that it is there. As always the food and service was excellent, and cheap to boot. One thing to note is the restaurant is BYOB so bring a drink and enjoy the delicious dishes and outdoor seating.
Delicious! Love come here for Taco Tuesday. The pulled pigs are my favorite. Can't beat value or quality!
Just visited El Matador for the first time tonight. My wife and I loved being there because it reminded us so much of the Mexican places we used to go to when we lived in Houston. Love the decorations and the staff was really nice. The food was really good too. The tortillas were fresh. The three different salsas were all really good. They seasoned the meat really well. Really enjoyed this place and we’re going to be regulars.
The first time El Matador 2 tries and it was delicious! I had the little carnitas tacos for $1.50 each and the Sopa de res. Come back!
