We came in on Memorial weekend. Lots of people canceled due to the weather but it turned out to be fantastic. Noone here at the lodge but us lol. Very limited staff. Restaurant not open and since no staff, no breakfast or dinners. Luckily we had stuff with us. Tv didn't work but...not here to watch tv. Very quiet and peaceful.Rooms: Room was clean! What User doesn't like about The Lodge At Copperhead:
We booked a room with an option to pay later. They didn't call us until the day we were supposed to checkin, to get the payment. We were on the trail when they called us i, e 2 hours prior to our check-in and we could not respond because of no network connection. The restaurant closed almost a year ago. No working pop machine and the pool is closed. The room was clean, but small and didn’t have a chair in it. They claim to be a motorcycle resort. They need a lot of changes to be successful as a biker place.Rooms: 3/5
If I could give this zero stars I would. I booked this place because it was pretty cheap and had some good reviews but don’t do it, save your money and find somewhere better. We checked in at 3 and went to our room… We were out of there by 3:30. There were clumps of hair all over our bed, flies in the bathroom, dirty clothes/sheets under the bed, not to mention under the bed looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in AGES (trash, dust, dirt, and dead bugs everywhere). The guy at the front desk was very nice and understanding but other than that it was a HORRIBLE experience. Save the drive money and book somewhere better!!

I don't even rate this place. Its beautiful to look at but you don't want to stay here. I woke up with bed bugs all over me.
Good: Room was as pictured, bed comfortableBad: Car Parking, No hot water when showering in the morning, Room 109 hairdryer is a fire hazard (almost caught fire when I tried using it)
