This place is a must visit! The hospitality is excellent and the food is delicious. We were traveling and looking to avoid the usual chain restaurants, and we stumbled upon this gem. We were so happy to spot Dove's and happier that we gave it a try! My family loved the catfish special (2 large fillets cooked perfectly) and the cheesesteak. We also liked the BBQ, but didn't find it exceptional. We were very sad to find that collards were out of season, hence, no sandwich. The woman taking our order was so patient, answering our questions about the menu selections. We also met the owner, a great guy to talk with! I highly recommend a visit!
Got the bbq plate and meat was so tender and juicy! Service was excellent and loved the slaw. We also tried their new burger “The Ringer” at the servers recommendation and it was phenomenal!
Friendly people, delicious food!!! So tasty, better then my mom's cooking I had a baroque pork chop, it was delicious and tender! Best coleslaw
