The Guesthouse - Black Canyon City

The owner was very friendly. I stayed twice in three years. Rooms super clean, cute old-fashioned decor. Air conditioning worked super, much hot water. The best pizza we've ever had nearby!

We just came back from a trip to Sedona and were in this hotel group of 5 3 adults and 2 children. Beautiful cozy little hotel! Very friendly staff. Anthony checked us in, very friendly, professional, told us what to see and where to go. Rooms are immaculately clean, very comfortable beds, no complaints from children or adults, A/C is not noisy. Very nice view. Stay safe. And they even had hot coffee/tea/youth and breakfast in the morning (Koronavirus era) Thank you! We landed randomly at this motel when we were on the way from Sedona to Los Angeles at 11:00. Apparently the road was far too dark through the canyons and we decided to stay overnight in the next city and not in Phoenix. The next town was Black Canyon City. Very nice small motel, very terminated and cozy. Beautiful room with vintage decoration, something you don't often see. We had two rooms and one of them had a kitchen that was very practical because we had 2 small children. Owner is very nice and helpful. I agree that they need black curtains because it's hard to sleep. And yes, it's not 5 star Cancun Hotel, but we didn't expect it. It had everything we needed. Sure, if we go back to Sedona, we'll stay there. We had party of 5 – 3 adults and 2 small children and all liked it. Loved village feeling. Thank you.
