in the coastal town of los angeles there is no lack of sushi restaurants. this place in bischof is by far the most surprising and outstanding side japans. the fish is fresh and tasty, large portions, interesting creations, friendly care staff; overall excellent value. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Yamatani Japanese:
philadelphia salmon roll was not a fresh laugh. after a bite I asked why the color of the laugh was not pink? they said they use smoked salmon that is different in taste sooo. the tempura was very fat and had one after the taste in the mouth for hours. if they want to eat Japanese, the dessert is not the place to buy. Wait for a table was close to an hour, staff was rude. Was served water with broken glass in it when someone near us got into a fight and shattered a dish. Pointed it out and received no apology.
Was seated in a nice table, ordered egg rolls they were terrific. ordered my Crunchy roll and the steamed vegetables, the vegetables come with the most amazing dip sauce. I highly recommend the place
Super great sushi. The flavor has increased over the years coming here and the quality has gone up for sure. The service is also super great. Roxanne and Robi do a stellar job running the place. Keep it up!
The first time to Yamatani tonight and it was great! Drive around a million times and always want to stop. We were in Bishop for this ski tour instead of Mammoth, and it was my birthday so decided to try. We sat at the Sushi Bar and Robbie was wonderful and made the best sushi. I can wait until the next ski tour comes back.
