We have come to lucia nights for many years, and for almost every visit we have chosen P.L johnsons to dinner. we were never disappointed. their suppening, sandwiches and desserts are fantastic and the service is friendly and efficient. in particular, the dining area at the kitchen is cozy and beautifully furnished for christmas.

This was my first time visiting Bishop Hill. Before going to a couple of shops, we had lunch at PL Johnson. What a treat! Three of us ordered three different dishes shared. We got Swedish meatballs, stuffed cabbage, ham with Swiss cheese casserole. Everything was delicious!!! We shared two desserts they were delicious as well. Everything was homemade with high quality, fresh ingredients. No freezer to fryer food here! The waitress was outstanding! I wish I had gotten her name, so I could mention her in this review.
