This is one of those places where you can try more traditional Romanian food in the touristy area. It is also pretty famous as it was recommended by our hotel receptionist and other people. For the location and ambiance, it is pretty good. However, I have had better food in other restaurants farther away from the touristy area. The food here is about a 8/10, which is good enough for you to try. The price range of the... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Casa cu Cerb:
Når man er turist i Europas berømte Sighisoara, forventes det service og mat i høy klasse. Ihvertfall ikke servering av kokte grønnsaker fra (fabrikkproduserte) frosne poser. Sorry, men denne detaljen bør ikke oversees av en restaurant som ligger midt i den flotte turistettertraktede Cetate! View all feedback.
Pros: The location is great on the square of the old town and one of the receptionists was very helpful. Cons: Breakfast was one of the worst I ever had in a hotel. There were few options, but the coffee was good. The rooms need a painting and the bathroom is very old (one of the rooms had problems with warm water.
Great view of the central square, charismatic and professional waiters, affordable and always cold drinks. Great value for your money
Poor service, bad food, we had to wait 30 minutes for the POS to charge, dirty toilets. The dishes missed some ingredients, they only one bottle of beer. It was like in a very bad movie.
We ordered vegetables soup, ratatouille and salad with carrots and other vegetables. The soup was tasteless, the ratatouille was basically frozen vegetables with potatoes on steam and the salad was a mooshy tasteless blended receipe. The serving was ok but the waiter has some jokes as tasteless as the food. I definitelly no not reccomend them.
We were for two nights. In a department store from 15. This hotel was used by Prince Charles during his many trips to Transylvania. It is not your average Candlewood Suites, but another deal. Full character, located right in the heart of the upper town of Sighispara and a Unesco site, Casa cu Cerb offers an excellent experience in a layer-like location. The Lady Manager was very accommodating in explaining their kitchen was temporarily only breakfast whcih was very good by the way.
