Tipu Sultan Majestic Dining

I went to this restaurant last night for Eid with my wife and daughter. It was very busy, but the waiters were excellent and were able to seat us at a nice table with plenty of space for our little one. The food came out quickly and was piping hot with loads of flavor. The butter chicken was made just right, not too sweet with coconut sauce, but a mild dish. The gosht sultani was amazing, as were the naans. The service was great and the prices were reasonable - we spent just under £50 for everything, including drinks. Thank you for not changing your recipes - I'm tired of going to restaurants that make overly sweet curries.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I ordered the palak chicken but it was full of methi. When I asked for it to be remade with just spinach, I was told they couldn't because they don't make the food fresh, they just heat up ready-made dishes. I ended up getting achari chicken instead, which was overcooked and oily with no flavor. The Hyderabadi lamb was slightly better but still dry and lacking in spices. I used to frequent this place when I lived in the UK, but after this experience, I will not be returning. When I complained to the manager, he dismissed my concerns by saying they serve hundreds of people so they don't care about individual complaints. Overall, a dreadful dining experience.

I had heard a lot about this restaurant, but I was really disappointed. Everything was just average or below average. We prefer the Leicester location. The only good thing about this visit were the waiters - they were very polite and efficient.

Amazing food and amazing service. Will definitely be revisiting

Their food is very tasty and fresh. They can get extremely busy at times but I felt they cope well. My children loves going there. Their lamb chops are amazing My second visit from London to Birmingham again within 5 months with family. The photos don't do justice to the quality and taste of the food. surely will be going back again.
