Restaurant Barajee - Birmingham

Came here for an early dinner before a concert and came here as the reviews were good and it is close to the utita arena. the entrance is located in the main street and then they go up to a beautiful open, clean room. pleasant welcome and offered a drink cobra at the take and a white wine. we ordered a main dish from specials, some bhajis (saag and mushroom and some papadums with relish. the papadums came fast and there was a bit of a waiting for the most important courses, plus the mushroom bhaji never arrived, but a wobble bhaji that we sent back. the quality and quantity was excellent. the total cost for 2 of us for a main course and 2 drinks were just under £30 each; i.e. medium price

We were hungry after a big concert and came over this place, some went up and it turned out amazing. the food was delicious and the customer service was exceptional, the staff was wonderful, even if it was late, they did not travel to us and explained the eating etc. more beautiful place.

Saturday evening was the second time my man and I ate in the barajee before I had a show in the utilita. we have booked an early table for 5 watches and had the choice of serene channel view or the bustle of broad street, both super. the service, the food and the overall experience were this time as excellent as it was the last and we would not hesitate to eat here again. I can highly recommend this restaurant, but make sure that they book!

Very welcoming, listened to my request for advice on different dishes, cooked beautifully, duck perfect, didn’t fuss as was on own, just a lovely experience, will dine again given opportunity.,
