When we arrived , there was limited seating inside so we chose to dine outside. The food was great and the service was very good. Our family time of eating, laughing and conversating was even better. View all feedback.
What Isaac Pichon doesn't like about Saw's Juke Joint:
I’ve ordered out for lunch twice from Saw and it sucks! Last order was a salad, sorry but it’s not a salad but half a lettuce with meat that doesn’t taste like it came from a barbecue place. This is not what is stated on the menu either. 2 more minutes of effort and you may have made a salad. Sorry, going some where else from now on. View all feedback.
Had a sweet tea chicken sandwich with a side of turnip greens (they are the best)! Hubby had the pull pork and it’s always amazing! We were fortunate to have SAM as our waiter again. He’s not only a great waiter, but a terrific performer, so you must go to Saw’s one evening when he’s on the venue.
Went for the first time ever last night. I was in the area for work and it came up on a Google search. The place/atmosphere is homey and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was somehow even better. I had the wings and pulled pork plate. I would definitely go back and recommend it. Plus the locals were super friendly.
Party of 8 and still had amazing service from our waitress! The food and drinks were phenomenal! I would highly recommend!
I had the pork and greens. OMG was it awesome! Then the banana pudding was mind blowing. Guy Fieri should do an episode on this place! The wait staff are so friendly and I’m glad my first taste of Alabama was here!
Saw's is one of my favorite places to eat in Birmingham . Always fresh and a fun place to eat and drink . My favorite is shrimp and grits with greens . The pork and greens is a very close second . Never disappointed .
