The Holiday Inn Big Rapids

I went to this restaurant and was not impressed with their fixed menu. I was confused why everything seemed to have a Cajun twist and was overly seasoned. I decided to try their burger, but was disappointed when it arrived overcooked and dry. I would recommend trying one of their other burger options instead.

The service staff was very disorganized and there were a group of men at the bar who made inappropriate and loud comments about me and my friends.

The food used to be good until they lost their only skilled chef. Since then, the quality of the food has declined significantly. I will not be dining there again. I would rather eat at a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant than go back to this place. The food now tastes like dirty dishwater.

What a disappointment. First, after ordering was told out of burgers. Flat coke, long wait. Almost left but order finally came out, but mind you, only one other table. The available vegetable was asparagus, was like eating sticks, chicken was charcoal burnt on the edges. Used to be a nice place. Please sell the place, sell the hotel. Somebody needs to put money and effort back into the place.

A little slow. But good place to sit and talk. Decent bar food. Onion rings were very good.
