Amangela's Sandwich Bagel House

Our family loves this little gem in downtown Big Bear. Serving great soups, salads, and sandwiches for every pallette (carnivore, vegetarian and vegan), the home-baked bread and bagels, coffee drinks, wine, beer and smoothies hit the spot for a day of shopping and after skiing as the traffic tapers. Move quickly from slopes to Amangela's because they close at 5pm. Try the French Dip sandwich on their hoagie roll! Amazing!

There were some SMOOTHIE selections that are absolutely delicious! if they are a smoothie lover, they have to stop here!

At our first visit, we ordered a swirl bag with jalapeño slimear. it was really good, flavored exactly right, and the teig fresh and chewing. later on the day we returned and ordered two different veggie sandwiches and they were very large and full of taste. the prices are not cheap, but eating is really good if after desire any baked bread items.

Painfully slow service, definitely not worth the long wait for a simple sandwich. When our order finally came it was incorrect and drowned in mustard. And for some reason the potato salad is full of olives? Definitely wish I skipped this spot.

Very good food with large portions. The staff was very friendly and attentive to guests.
