This place saved us from starvation when we realized restaurants in France don't start serving dinner until 7:30pm (we had skipped lunch so we were very hungry). The bartender said the chef wasn't in yet, but that he could make us a cheese and meat plate with baguette and hot peppers on the side. What User doesn't like about Le Bobar:
With some restaurants closed for a seasonal break and others on weekly closing days , this was one of the few open near the market on a Wednesday. The food was acceptable but unremarkable and not especially good value compared to other places nearby. Service was cheerful but stretched with significant waits between courses. Might have been more enjoyable if less busy. View all feedback.
Great service from a friendly cheerful bartender. The wine is great with a beautiful selection, and the cornflake chicken pieces are absolutely delicious and really fresh, popular bar and it is clear why!
During our first escapade with my wife we stopped eating by chance and there a great surprise. A great welcome, the very nice staff and the boss is super nice and the tapas and dishes are great!!!!! The quality is at the appointment and it is of good advice for other addresses. Keep going!!!!
We fell on this restaurant by chance during our trip to Biarritz. We loved the warm welcome that deserves a special mention! Unfortunately we had no currency for a tip, so in default we leave a 5-star rating that is well deserved; Fresh dishes, cozy place and it’s nice to fall on a place where the concept of service always exists. We'll be back with pleasure!
A great welcome, though we're with two young children. What we ate was very good, and the wine was well described on the map. A good experience for us. And when you ask for information the answers are clear the team is not limited to its establishment! Thank you.
Very welcoming, good atmosphere, diversity in cocktails, varied snacks and gourmet, very smiling staff. Unmissable place of the Halles de Biarritz to spend a good time.
