Great place for Mughlai food. Crowded, very popular and has a great range of varieties. Difficult to get a seating place. Tried the Murgh Masallam, Seekh Kababs- good. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Zam Zam:
We visited this restaurant after seeing it recommended in a popular guidebook, but it did not live up to its reputation. The atmosphere was unhygienic and in need of a good cleaning. Our disappointment continued with the food, as the chicken tikka was overcooked, the dahl was too greasy, and the paneer dish was poorly executed. Overall, this was our least favorite dining experience during our 9 days in India. View all feedback.
Very cheap restaurant and good variety of food. Although the food is not very high slandered but its tasty and at very low price. you also have a lot of options here. the service is fast.
Awesome place for dinner in old bhopal. It has best Briyani in bhopal. Service is too fast. No sitting option is there. You have to eat at the tables or get pack your item. Must try place if you are a chicken lover. Economical on budget
Daaaaamn that chicken tikka kabab was good! Gotta be into street food to go eat there though, guess a lot of foreign tourists might shy away from the place. That however would be a big mistake!

Okay, first of all I would like to clarify that this place is not for the faint hearted fine dining lovers who would not like to step into any place close to a cheap eat. But! At the same time, if authentic non-veg food is what you're looking for and the Old city corner Dhabas are not your cup of tea - Then this is the joint for you!I went to 'Zam zam' looking for the famed authentic Bhopali Gosht Rizala (Mutton Razala). It took me a ride twice across the town to find a place which seemed acceptably hygienic and at the same time provided pure authentic Rizala and other Bhopali local cuisine with a good taste. Here are the details :-Hygiene 3* :- You will have to insist on it. Like any small eatery, the plates etc provided in the beginning were a little iffy and we had to insist on being provided clean crockery. They did provide us the same, but it really seemed a constant struggle. So a 2* on that. But the food didn't get me sick and seemed fresh so a 4* on that.Food Quantity 2.5* :- Not too less. But could be better. The Mutton pieces seemed small and except for one or two pieces were mostly boney. The seekh kebab was a very small thickish piece so that was something that was a bit of a put off.Food quality - Overall 4* -- Taste 5* - Despite everything, the taste was everything to write home about. The razala had quite a lot of gravy. The pieces that did have meat on them were well made. And the taste was definitely worth re-visiting. The breads, Naan rotis and Boiled eggs were also well made.-- Texture and Quality :- 2* - Mostly because as mentioned the meat was boney. And the Seekh kebab, when it came the first time looked like a Dry piece of Royal T**d (Can't use the word in relation to food, but it did sadly have that appearance). The one that came upon changing it, looked a little more succulent, but tbh I've had better. Therefore an overall 4* on Quality in combination.Service 3* - It was definitely polite compared to some other cities. But I've definitely had better in Bhopal (I personally find servers and people usually polite and efficient in the city - one of the reasons I like visiting). But there was a resistance in providing the service everytime it was asked. Hence, the 3*.For example, it was a real effort and repeated request to get the clean dishes and tumblers to drink water. I didn't get any response when the kebab was asked to be changed and literally had to go down to see the manager leaving my food in the middle to reason out with him as to why the kebab (burnt) was not up to the mark.Though they finally did provide the service, these things do tend to taint the experience.Value 3* I would probably give it an Overall 3.5, but that Rizala is something worth a visit, Hence, an Overall 4*Note: They do provide some vegetarian options these days. However, those people who are vegetarian for a religious reason or averse to it being cooked in shared pots & pans and gravies may find it tough to eat here.Hope this helps.(Do click on the helpful button to lemme know.
