The ambiance and service were fantastic. The owner even took the time to chat with guests and share some interesting stories about the restaurant. It’s a great spot for a date. However, I wish the food had matched the experience. Given the prices, I expected the meals to be more impressive, but each dish fell short of the wow factor I typically find in places like this. We had our wedding here during Covid. We love this place and always enjoy every single time we come here!
I loved everything about this place, it was absolutely GORGEOUS and the service was amazing. The food wasn’t mouth watering good but was still pretty good.
Il Cielo is by far the best and most romantic restaurant in Southern California. The service is impeccable, the food is outstanding, the entire restaurant is beautiful and the entire staff (from the owner to the parking valet) is very friendly, but not intrusive. We were married at Il Cielo sixteen years ago and return for every anniversary and numerous times in-between.

Would definitely recommend this restaurant, delicious food and very aesthetic environment. I️ am rating 4/5 stars on the food because my boyfriend ordered the Spaghetti Latini and he was not particularly a fan, I️ ordered the Tortelli Di Burrata and it is a MUST- so delicious. We also ordered the Antipasto Il Cielo and it was a fantastic assortment of cheese/meat and bread! The atmosphere was was super cute, not too loud at all (we went on a Tuesday). We did put on the reservation that it was our anniversary and we didn't get accommodated with the cute little cake or rose pedals they offer but we also didn't say anything to the server so that could have definitely been a mistake on our end. All in all, great experience, will be going back.
