I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The service was excellent at this restaurant, and I have dined here often. However, the food during this visit was very disappointing. The filet was overcooked and tough. I did not complain, as I typically don't, but the kitchen staff and management should be aware of this issue.
I ordered the files. It was impossible. It was a round, hard piece of tasteless meat. The Portobello mushroom appetizers are wonderful. Absolutely they have to get! The wedge salad was covered and had no bacon. My biggest complaint is that they don't have Ketel One Wodka. Katrina and Cassy and AJ are fabulous servers!
I had the rib, I rarely have it medium. Very dry and was like rubber. Had framed spinach, terrible. I could have eaten better. Hort
