What a happy surprise to find this lovely Sushi restaurant a stone's throw from our hotel in Danbury, CT. Almost everything we tried was excellent. The chicken lettuce wrap appetizer was a hit with my family. We shared three sushi rolls from the Ki Asian Special selections: Ever Green (vegetarian) roll with avocado, cucumber, asparagus and tempura flakes, Spicy Santa Roll with a jumbo tempura shrimp in the center, an... Staff was very friendly, food was okay but the restaurant is in need of some up keep. Most of the sushi was ok and the noodle dishes were fairly standard. My wife and I were a little disapoidisapthst there was not cold seasame noodles, but the dumplings made up for them! View all feedback.
The atmosphere was very comfortable but yet the music that kept on going on over a loop was getting a little much. Very delicious of our meals and fresh sushi! Yet when we're done with our meal they rush to give us our bill. : We had requested tempura green tea ice cream which seemed that it was just warm on the outside and not crunchy like it was quickly microwaved.
Ki Asian is the best sushi place I found so far in the area. The service is friendly quick and the food is very good. I highly recommend the TNT Tuna and fried oysters. My friend asked for extra truffle soy sauce at the side with his rolls and they very happy to fulfill the request.
Back again for more. More than a year later and still great. Still love the TNT but our party of four also had two other rolls and a teriyaki chicken. The rolls were fantastic and the chicken solid as well! The staff is still super friendly and attentive. Whether a local who goes every week or an out of town visitor who goes once a year they will welcome you and treat you like an old friend.
Awesome. The sushi is perfect. The rice is amazing and all the different flavors are what one would want in a roll. I'll be back.
This place is a hidden gem! While at work in town, I eat here at least twice a week, I would go more, but I might get mercury poisoning. It looks like a normal cheap sushi restaurant, but that is because they are catering to the people in this area, but the chef is Manhattan Top Notch Sushi Omakase trained (I think he use to work at Nobu and Morimoto in New York). If you have the high quality expensive palette like me, because I live in Manhattan New York now, order the Supreme Omakase Sushi! It is probably the best deal you'll ever get on Omakase Sushi. He flies the fish in weekly from Tokyo on Tuesday I believe, so best time to go is Wednesday. I've been begging the sushi chef to open a place in Manhattan, so I can eat it more often. I usually never order anything else, but I ordered the Tom Yum soup once and it was delicious. Apparently the kitchen hands are all Thai, so their thai food is great.
