We'll be back. I went with my sister for the first time today. Only a few other customers inside as it was the middle of the afternoon so we just picked out a table and sat down. It actually took us longer to decide what to eat than it did for them to cook it and bring it out. We definitely liked that. Aside from the soggy roll my sister liked her burger. What Elza Rice doesn't like about Boomarang Diner:
Went there because they were supposed to have good burgers. We waited while they made them when no one else was there. We got two onion burgers and one double cheese. All three burgers were way over cooked and dry. Almost burnt. They are very expensive, small burgers. $3.89 for a single, $5.35 for the double. Very disappointed cause I love most burgers. Extremely disappointed! I have never had a fried steak that was so over cooked you could not even cut it up. HARD AND DRY! You know the cook knew he over cooked it but they served it up anyways. It had NO flavor other than burnt crust flavors. Could not even tell if it had seasoning since all you could taste was burnt crust. INEDIBLE! Not even the dog wanted it. I ordered chicken fried steak for me and my wife to carry out at 1:30 pm and they close at 2:00pm. I was so made when I got home and seen the steak sandwichs.That I asked if they would cook them lite and tender and they wore way over cooked and so hard we couldn't eat them. I took pics of them if I can figure out how to post them. This was only the third time getting food here and it will be the last. How could a cook serve that I would be so embarrassed. I'm 62 and this is the first review I've every posted this was the Boomerang restaurant in Bethany on a Sunday.
